iTunes tip!
When a song is playing in iTunes, clicking the triangle at the left of the title/time elapsed/time remaining in the top bar will toggle the view to this:

better tip, when viewing the track info in that view click the arrow on the right side to jump to the now playing track in itunes

Even more useful is that the same little triangle will switch you over to other info if iTunes is doing more than one thing at one time.
For example, when I am legally downloading music without copyright management, courtesy of the fine CD's that the record companies distribute, I like to listen to MP3 files that are already on my computer. The little triangle will switch the info window from the now playing track, to the EQ, to the Import status of the current track of the CD I am downloading.
It will also show info about the Export status of CD's you are burning, or a few other status views.
Have fun experimenting, and continue to support the largest unregulated distribution system of unprotected digital media in the world, the RIAA.
Spacy, you mean ripping a CD, not downloading it. The only time I look at that screen in iTunes is to check how much my iPod is done syncing and what it is copying.
