Convert a PDF to plain text!

This is an automator workflow to convert a selected PDF file to plain text. Of course, it doesn't always work well, because most of the formatting is eliminated. It also won't work with PDFs that have text as images. It is still very useful to quickly convert the main text of a PDF. You can refer to last's week Automator tip to get more info about how to use the script and save it more effectively in Automator. Here is the script:

1. Add the "Get Selected Finder Items" action.
2. Add the "Extract PDF Text" action.
3. Select a PDF file and run the script. The plain text will be saved on the desktop.
